Safety and health on the jobsite is fundamental to AGC member companies. Our members have some of the most well respected safety programs in the industry and, through our awards programs, AGC recognizes companies whose safety programs stand out.

National AGC Safety Awards (NASA)

The National AGC Safety Awards program has been an ongoing effort to offer AGC members an opportunity to evaluate their safety record. NASA compares a member's safety record with other AGC members according to the member size and construction type. Additionally, NASA provides a great opportunity for contractor members to compete for nationally recognized awards.

Review this year's announcement here. Members are encouraged to participate and submit their entry electronically to AGC of DC using this form. Entries will be submitted electronically by the Chapter to AGC of America. All entries are due to AGC of DC via electronic form by February 3, 2010.

Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA)

In partnership with AGC of America, AGC of DC encourages its members to showcase their workplace safety initiatives. The AGC of America Construction Safety and Excellence Awards program is an effort to recognize companies who have developed and implemented excellent safety and loss prevention programs achieved through management commitment, employee involvement, and program innovation.

Members are encouraged to complete the 11^th Annual CSEA Application and return it to Cherie Pleasant at pleasant@agcofdc.org.
