Building Information Modeling (BIM) is one of the most exciting developments in the construction industry and is changing the way projects are built. AGC provides many resources to keep members informed on the topic. Get involved with BIMForum, obtain The Contractor's Guide to BIM: Edition 1 from the bookstore, take a BIM education course, and visit AGC of America's website for more information.
AGC’s BIM Education Program provides participants with a broad understanding and essential knowledge on BIM terminology, technology, concepts, functionality, and legal and insurance issues. The program is designed to serve construction professionals, building developers, owners, managers, architects, engineers and construction product manufacturers.
The courses were developed by AGC in conjunction with leading BIM practitioners, technology firms and educators to provide contractors with the essential information and skills needed to successfully implement BIM.
